About Us

Belka is a Digital Product Studio that helps companies with digital products grow. We’re a team of 10 people—strategists, designers, and developers—working out of Trento and remotely. Over the past five years, we’ve collaborated with some of Italy’s most innovative companies: Fatture in Cloud, Subito.it, NeN, Segugio.it, Banca Sella, Walliance, Mooney, and many others.

The Role

We’re looking for a Junior UX Strategist to join our team. You’ll work side by side with other strategists, designers, and project managers on real-world projects for companies that need to make important decisions about their products.

Your focus is on the early stages of the design process: understanding the context, the competition, and the users; making sense of complexity; and transforming it into clear directions the team can build upon. We’re looking for someone who wants to think about the “why” of a product before even considering the “how”—and who knows how to then make that vision concrete and visible.

What You’ll Do

Support UX audits, user and stakeholder interviews, data analysis, and flow and scenario mapping
Conduct desk research—including market and competitive analysis—and synthesize the results into clear, actionable takeaways
Participate in workshop sessions, often held at the client’s office or in Trento
Support the development and visualization of experience concepts and design strategies
Translate strategic or content requirements into clear structural and visual outputs
Support the preparation and facilitation of workshops: research, exercises, materials, and pre- and post-workshop documentation
Iterate on the work based on feedback from strategists, designers, and the internal leadership team
Take ownership of well-defined tasks, manage your progress independently, and raise questions or report roadblocks when needed

Requirements

At least 1+ years of experience in User Research, UX strategy, or design, at an agency, consulting firm, or within a product team
Excellent research skills and, above all, the ability to synthesize information: you know how to distill a large amount of material into a few clear takeaways
Excellent communication skills: you understand that what you say, present, and write must be easily understood by others. It’s your job to make your message clear.
Proficiency in Figma and FigJam to visualize structure and concepts
Strong writing skills: audits, documentation, and messaging all depend on this
Proactive approach: you can identify problems and determine whether they’re worth addressing, even without being asked
Growth mindset: You approach projects as opportunities to bring value to the client and to Belka
C1-level proficiency in Italian and English
You live in Italy and are able to commute to the office in Trento or attend meetings at client sites when necessary.

Plus

Experience in B2B SaaS or fintech
Curiosity about business models and a desire to learn how to interpret client metrics (revenue model, acquisition, unit economics) to discuss their goals with founders and C-suite executives
Ability to present your work to an audience, including clients
Experience with AI tools

What We Offer

Annual salary between €25k and €28k, based on experience and portfolio
Permanent contract under the Metal and Mechanical Engineering National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL)

€1,000/year budget for your training
Weekly 1-on-1s with your manager
You’ll work from Trento or remotely, with a monthly visit to HQ
