About Us

Belka is a Digital Product Studio that helps companies with digital products grow. We are a team of 10 people—strategists, designers, and developers—working out of Trento and remotely. Over the past five years, we have collaborated with some of Italy’s most innovative companies: Fatture in Cloud, Subito.it, NeN, Segugio.it, Banca Sella, Walliance, Mooney, and many others.

The Role

We’re looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer to join our team. You’ll work on real projects, side by side with strategists, software engineers, and project managers.

You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end design of a project: from designing user flows to handing off to the development team. We’re looking for someone who wants to make an impact on the product and how it works, not just its aesthetics.

What you’ll do

Support the product team through design activities
Contribute to defining the brief, timeline, and design approach
Actively participate in workshops and kick-offs with teams and clients
Produce mood boards, information architecture, wireframes, high- and low-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and contributions to the design system
Support user testing activities
Oversee the handoff to the development team (internal/external)

Requirements

At least 1+ years of experience in an agency or product design team
Proficiency in Figma
Portfolio demonstrating strength in both UX and UI
Ability to bring together business, stakeholders, and users in design decisions
Proactive approach: you can identify problems and determine whether they’re worth addressing, even without being asked
Growth mindset: you approach projects as opportunities to bring value to the client and to Belka
C1-level proficiency in Italian and English
You live in Italy

Use of AI tools such as Claude Code or Figma Make in your workflow

What we offer

Annual salary between €24k and €28k, based on experience and portfolio
Permanent contract under the National Collective Bargaining Agreement for the Metalworking Industry
A MacBook, external monitor, and the tools you need to work effectively
€1,000/year budget for your training
Weekly 1-on-1s with your manager
Work from Trento or remotely, with a monthly visit to HQ
