Product Designer - Intern

Position closedWe’re looking for a Contractor - Product Design Associate who is excited to learn, contribute, and grow within a product team. You’ll support end-to-end design work- from early concepts and user flows to high-fidelity UI and prototypes - while collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers.
Job requirements
Must-have skills & traits
A portfolio showcasing product design work (school, personal, or professional projects).
Strong proficiency in Figma.
Familiarity with user flows and designing end-to-end experiences.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Highly organized, able to manage tasks, files, and feedback efficiently.
Attention to detail: you care deeply about clarity, consistency, and polish.
Clear communication skills: you can explain your thinking and collaborate effectively.
Drive: energetic, hard-working, and committed to delivering excellent work.
Curiosity and initiative: you ask questions, explore options, and look for ways to improve.

Nice-to-have
Experience working with and maintaining a design system (or strong interest in learning how).
Exposure to product discovery activities (user interviews, usability testing, research synthesis).

Job responsibilities
Illustrate design ideas and concepts through concept maps, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Create UI mockups and prototypes in Figma to clearly communicate interaction and behavior within the product.
Identify and troubleshoot UX issues (e.g., usability problems, unclear flows, inconsistentUI).
Collaborate with the product team to iterate on designs based on feedback, constraints, and priorities.
Participate in user calls (when available for the project) to observe, learn, and support research and validation.
Follow brand and UI standards and contribute to consistent execution across the product.
Support andmaintain the design system, helping ensure components and patterns are reused correctly and updated when needed.
