For the Product & Service Design team, we are seeking an intern interested in understanding user needs and translating them into proposals to improve digital products and services in the B2B sector.

You’ll support the team in research, analysis, and design activities, taking into account both the user experience and the processes and people that enable service delivery. You’ll collaborate with the Business, Engineering, and Data Science teams, learning to align user needs, business objectives, and implementation constraints.

What You’ll Do

You’ll help analyze existing services and processes, mapping out user needs, interactions among stakeholders, and key pain points in the user experience.
You’ll support the team in preparing for and conducting interviews and usability tests, helping to synthesize the results and identify design opportunities.
You’ll integrate research findings with available information, such as customer feedback, usage data, and experience and product metrics.
You’ll collaborate on creating journey maps and service blueprints to visualize the user experience, service delivery processes, and opportunities for improvement.
You will participate in ideation activities and the development of concepts, usage scenarios, and simple prototypes to bring proposals to life and gather feedback.
You’ll support the team in liaising with relevant departments and during solution development, helping to clarify design decisions and verify their alignment with identified needs.

Who You Are

You are completing or have completed a degree program in Service Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, or another related field, with educational or project experience relevant to service design.
You have a basic understanding of the principles of human-centered design and have experience—including in an academic setting—with user research methods and methods for analyzing and visualizing services.
You have participated in at least one project in which you helped to understand a problem, explore people’s needs, and formulate a proposal. You can describe the process you followed, your contribution, and the reasons behind the choices made.
You know how to organize information and observations, identify connections, and synthesize them clearly, including through diagrams and visual representations.
You are interested in understanding both how people experience a service and how it is delivered, taking into account roles, processes, and organizational constraints.
In group work, you know how to listen, ask for clarification, and revise your proposals in light of new evidence and feedback.
You communicate clearly in Italian and can use English to consult materials and documentation and discuss project topics.

The work location is San Donato Milanese (MI), with a hybrid work arrangement.

A monthly expense allowance of 800 euros is provided.
