Working Student - UX Design and Research (f/m/div)

Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role:
- Thorough planning: Schedule usability sessions, prepare scripts, take notes, and cluster findings in Dovetail/Miro
- Keeping things running: Create and tidy simple wireframes, mockups, and click-through prototypes in Figma based on provided requirements
- Expand your horizons: Use and learn the current design system to ensure new designs are compliant and consistent
- Taking ownership: Maintain design files while organizing pages, updating components, export assets, and document changes
- Reliable work: Support usability testing, set up prototypes, run pilot tests, capture feedback, and compile concise summaries
- Keep up to date: Documentation in Figma, Jira, and Dovetail; help track small design tasks and statuses
- Teamwork is dreamwork: Help the UX team with day-to-day design and research activities (scheduling, materials, notes, follow-ups)
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:
- Study field: Currently enrolled in a degree in Psychology, Design, Human Computer Interaction or a similar field
- Skills: Basic Figma and Miro skills; eagerness to learn and ask questions.Nice to have: a short portfolio or coursework sample showing yourthinking process
- Personality: Reliable, organized, and comfortable communicating in a team
- Interests: In UX for complex platforms; no prior semiconductorexperience required
- Language skills: English proficiency, German is a plus
- Availability: 18–20 hours/week during the semester

- Important information:
- Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.
- You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
